Another gloomy day, huh?

I caught up on GOSSIP GIRL last night. Doesnt it make you nervous when people call it GOSSIP GIRLS? Theres no S in the title y'all. Anyway, Im getting a little sick of the put a headband on anyone with a set of boobs on the shows head. Overkill like whoa if ya ask me.. We get it, you guys like headbands, every 15 year old and their mother will be searching for the perfect one- can you just lay it to rest already?? Haha. I love this show. Love CHUCK BASS. Im always impressed when a british actor can act and speak with no accent. In real life he has a heavy accent, how the heck does he mask it like that? Then -- we have our american actors that stink at accents when they take on a foreign role. STRANGE.

Yesterday I scored the sweetest parking spot in front of my school- completely unheard of!! Felt amazing to save $40 on a parking lot.

The other night I went with A to go see KEVIN DEVINE at JOES PUB. Sadly, it was sold out. We tried to finagle with the guy at the front door. By the time he let us in though, KD was on his last 2 songs. So sad. He was playing with RACHEL YAMAGATA. Her stuff is not my cup of tea at all. Very GREYS ANATOMY-ish for 40 somethings. Her voice is actually really pretty but she had way too many people on stage with her. Including 3 men humming and nagging noises into the Mic making those weird faces. It was really hard to take them seriously and not laugh in their faces. Im so immature sometimes. KD stayed on stage with her, so that was enough for me. (LESLIE LOO, I tried to fill you in but you dont have a "contact me" link or commenting option on your blog?!!) About 3 songs in A and I decided to leave. I looked at her and said "RACHEL YAMA- blah blah, lets bail", she said "more like RACHEL YAMA- see ya f*ckin lata" I thought that was genius.

Ended up seeing C out. Hadnt seen him in the longest time. Hes the cutest!

SO anyway, Im really obsessed with A A Bondy. I really think you should check out his music. I cant believe this album was under my radar for so long. AMERICAN HEART is such a beautiful song. PLEASE PLEASE listen to it. KEVIN DEVINES- JUST STAY is great too, for all you angsty people out there. Two completely different sounding tunes. I have the new TV ON THE RADIO- DEAR SCIENCE, so get ready for a review of that one, thanks El. The first track first few seconds has a RAMONES sound, with a twist of BLOC PARTY but that doesnt count because I havent fully listened to it in its entirety yet. I like what im hearing though.  Ive been listening to the new COLD WAR KIDS- LOYALTY TO LOYALTY too. Im liking it too. Ill write an appropriate post about that one when ive given it the time it deserves.
