SOCIALIZATION

Yesterday was a very social day which was big for me. I love hanging with friends and catching up with them. Sadly, I dont get to do it very often because school is always there to suck up every waking moment of mine.

It was my real first free day since being liberated. Met up with R and we headed uptown to celebrate A's birthday over lunch with a bunch of people. Im starting to realize that ive become somewhat socially awkward since enrolling in school. The trivial things that I once lived for, have been put on the back burner. They've been traded in for long hours of homework and talk of elevations, visual concepts and '09 class schedules. It was nice to see everyone and catch up though.

SIDE NOTE- R hates my music. It hurts my feelings. The only crap she listens to is like workout stuff. I always get a comment when she gets in my car. I asked her to make me a cheesy CD so that when shes in my car, she will be happy. She likes club music. I can tolerate it. The things we do for our friends... Lately shes been hilarious so I dont mind enduring house music for her.

Last night I went to see CSS with a bunch of friends. We had a blast. Wow, they really put on a show. Costumes, balloons, lights, the whole nine. At one point they even came off of the stage and started dancing with the crowd. Twas cute and strange.

Afterwards we went out for drinks and french fries. Saw ADRIEN GRENIER again! Was dying to relive the wine story from the other night but opted not to. I hate people that walk over to celebrities and hound them while theyre trying to enjoy their meal. So rude. My friends were star struck, I was kinda eh. They did enough staring to last a lifetime. N was great company last night. Hes one of those upbeat happy people. He also says the nicest things, well, most of the time anyway, ahemm, I know youre reading. We also had a newbie which always spices things up.

I was telling E how much I loved this one piece at ART BASEL. I am obsessed with feathers and this piece was mind blowing. I mentioned the artists name, REBECCA HORN, and she knew the exact one I was talking about. I want it. She said, "sure, for two hundred grand and its all yours" I said, "yeah, not this year with the economy and all" I asked her to buy it for me for Hanukah. Maybe she will, Im thinking no, though..

Maybe you can all chip it and send it to me.

How hot is this??
